WEB DESIGN at PERfect salt

Full web design project for Tuft (Today's Unique Furniture Trends) of Charlotte, North Carolina

the perfect salt web design process

Welcome

After your initial inquiry, Carli will follow up with you to learn more about your project. What is your timeline? What is the scope (size) of your project? Do you have any special circumstances (a new business launch, upcoming special that clients need to know about, etc.) that might impact the time frame?

Carli then provides you with a custom quote for timeline, payment and info about payment plan options. We require at least a 50% down-payment at time of booking to reserve your space on the design calendar, with the remaining balance paid prior to work beginning on your project.

it's ALL in THE DETAIls

Once your payment is complete, the next step is getting down to the nitty-gritty (and one of the most fun!) parts of the process: What do you want out of your site?

Together, Carli will work with you to discern what you need site visitors to know, communicate your brand identity and any additional particulars that you feel are important. For local clients, this can be done at an in-person consultation in Salem, OR. Carli will buy you coffee, and chat about your hopes for your new site.

Can't make an in-person consultation, or live outside of the Salem/Portland area? No problem! Carli works with many clients from around the globe (Australia to North Carolina, Georgia and beyond!). If this is the case for you, Carli will guide you through the process via our personalized web questionnaire.

2 step building phase & Delivery

After collecting all the details for your site (including any "copy"/text and details from you), Carli will work on the "bones" of your site: This includes structure, page layout, and navigation. Once you confirm that the site is laid out just how you need (do the pages link where you want them to? Can clients get around the site easily?) we start on the details.

During the second phase of your site, Carli will add all the pretty details: color and design elements to match your brand, selecting custom fonts, adding in any additional photos or copy that you have provided, etc.

Once both phases have been approved by you, Carli sets up an in-person or tele-conference "reveal" of your site: You'll be guided through the process of logging in, updating and maintaining your site, and any custom features or functions that are unique to your custom design. One of our biggest priorities is that you are able to update portions of your site that change often, and feel supported in the product that you receive. After that, you get to share your site with the world!
